Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the mobile game Abyss Lantern: Deep Rescue (the "Game"), published by CJ Media under the CJMPlay brand ("we", "us"), handles information. The short version: the Game does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The Game has no accounts or sign-in, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Information stored on your device
To save your progress, the Game stores a small amount of game data only on your device:
- your best score and deepest dive,
- crew rescued, upgrades bought, copepods banked and your latest checkpoint,
- settings such as sound on/off and whether you have watched the intro.
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing the Game's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the Game.
Permissions
The Game uses your device's vibration for haptic feedback during play. It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
Third parties
The Game does not share information with third parties. When you download the Game, Google Play (and, on iPhone, the Apple App Store) processes that download under their own privacy policies.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the Game adds features that handle information differently, such as optional purchases or ads, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
